The character select screen was remade to have the same kind of blue aesthetic as the original, but with an update to keep the layout similar to the most recent game in the series, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

Super Smash Bros. Melee - Menu/UI redesign

For a self-set project in my second year of studies at Falmouth University, I wanted to do something that was outside of what I had been working on over the previous year and go back to some graphic design related work, and chose to revamp the menus of one of my favourite games, Super Smash Bros. Melee.
Originally the scope of the project was large and encompassed every possible menu in the game, but I quickly trimmed it down to the main menus and character/stage selection process.
